BRS Upholstery: A Story of Passion Since 2004
BRS Upholstery is the result of the hard work and passion of Benoît Robichaud, a trained cabinetmaker. When he first started out as a self-employed craftsman, he recognized a lack of specialized upholstery and cabinetmaking services in Quebec. Driven by a desire to provide high-quality solutions to owners of damaged or worn furniture and vehicle interiors, he founded his business in 2004 in a small workshop in L’Île-Perrot.
Thanks to his expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction, the business quickly grew. Benoît and his team gradually earned the trust of numerous furniture retailers, particularly for their after-sales upholstery, repair, and reupholstery services.
Over the years, Benoît Robichaud passed on his expertise and experience to young craftspeople to ensure that his high standards of workmanship would continue for generations. His company became, in many ways, a true training ground for upholstery professionals. Today, it is home to a team of more than 12 specialists.
More than just a business, BRS Upholstery represents a legacy of craftsmanship built with passion, passed down with pride, and destined to endure.
BRS Upholstery: A New Generation, the Same Craftsmanship
Today, the story continues with Jonathan Robichaud, Benoît’s son, who is carrying the family legacy forward and ensuring the continuity of the business.
This new generation also marks an important milestone in the company’s evolution: BRS Express becomes BRS Upholstery. This name change reflects a renewed identity, one that places greater emphasis on our expertise in upholstery and reupholstery, as well as our vision for the future.
Now based in Vaudreuil, the company continues its mission of providing tailored solutions to residential, commercial, automotive, and marine customers. From custom upholstery and furniture restoration to boat seating, motorcycle seats, and leather and vinyl repair, our team brings its expertise to every project.
While the name evolves and new ideas take shape, what matters most remains unchanged: the same passion, the same quality, and the same commitment to our customers.
With Jonathan leading this new chapter, BRS Upholstery continues the story Benoît began, with the ambition of preserving and growing this legacy of craftsmanship for generations to come.
In Constant Motion
With a continued focus on offering a wider range of services, in 2013 BRS Upholstery acquired the Illusion business, specializing in the repair of coach seats. Thanks to this merger and the flourishing evolution of BRS Upholstery, the company was forced to move into a more spacious space in 2014. Its current offices, located on the edge of Highway 20 in Vaudreuil, include a vast workshop of over 10,000 square feet and a showroom of our products and services. Equipped with a variety of upholstery materials and repair tools, as well as over 5,000 samples from several suppliers across North America, BRS Upholstery is the solution for your upholstery and covering projects.
BRS Upholstery experts carry out an average of 20 home repairs per day, in addition to work carried out in the workshop. Thanks to its modernized equipment and its large workspace, the Vaudreuil-Soulanges company now specializes in large-scale work such as repairing and transforming the interiors of antique vehicles and boats.
